Tracey Moore arrived in New York City to pursue a directing career, but she was suddenly sidetracked by the many opportunities that she was offered.

 

Her first venture was CEO of “The Jokes on You! Inc.”: an ensemble of actors who performed practical jokes for hire. Through the success of her company, she developed lasting relationships with the many actors who were anxious to be a part of this wacky production.

 

After five successful years of performing jokes, a director noticed the bulging files that Tracey had and asked her for a casting favor – and so Tracey Moore Casting was born.

 

“Find a void, fill it,” says Moore, and with that mantra Tracey has gone on to cast for feature films such as Just Another Girl on the I.R.T., New Jersey Drive and A Brother’s Kiss.

 

Tracey was also Extras Casting Director on the legendary Fox show New York Undercover during 1994 and 1995. Her commercial credits are lengthy; they include Nike, Sprite, Coca-Cola, New York Times, Miller Lite, Pontiac and Taco Bell, just to name a few.

 

Myles Marable, her son was hit by a car after dropping his cousin off to her dorm at FIT in New York.  When the EMS found him on the street, he had no vital signs and they bought him back. He suffered traumatic brain injury and a fracture right leg. He was in a medically induced coma at Kings County Hospital for 17 days and in ICU for 27 days; a total of 35 days. We moved to Rusk-NYU for 51 days for his rehab where he had to relearn how to talk, walk and all the everyday things we may take for granted.

 

The doctors initially  told us that Myles would be in a coma and semi-conscious for the rest of his life. I asked God one time to save my son as I leaned over him on the gurney in the emergency room (READ MORE)
